Steven Kadiev (CEO)
Trained as a physician-scientist specializing in pulmonary, critical care & sleep medicine Steven became a clean energy entrepreneur by virtue of the technology & opportunity “falling into his lap”. The inventors of the revolutionary catalyst and reformer are his aunt and uncle – their passion for a clean energy solution lead to the birth of the HR-100. Not only does he have a desire to help his patients, he is now focused on playing a role in global decarbonization and combating climate change.
Joao (John) Cullen (COO)
Joao has extensive background and experience introducing advanced technology products into production for transportation and energy equipment manufacturers including Cummins, Navistar, Jacobs Vehicle Systems as well a leading engineering consulting companies such as Ricardo and AVL. He is trained as a Mechanical Engineer with a MS degree in Naval Engineering from the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Dr. Gregory Ohl (CTO)
Greg has over 35 years of experience working in various engineering leadership and chief engineering roles for companies such as Chrysler, Adaptive Materials, New Eagle, and AVL. His main areas of experience include controls development, modeling, and systems engineering. He has 12 publications and holds 15 patents, with a focus on propulsion controls. He obtained his PhD and MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University. His PhD thesis was titled “Dynamic Analyses of a Methanol to Hydrogen Steam Reformer for Transportation Applications.”
Dr. Julia Hasty
Dr. Jay Hasty is the co-founder of Corvidae Labs and has participated in the early-stage development of clean technology startup companies such as All Power Labs and Portland Biodiesel. As a result, she has a broad experience in business development and all stages of technology development and commercialization. Jay has a B.S. in Chemistry at Oxford University in Virginia and a PhD in Material Science Engineering from Stony Brook University.
Dr. Colleen Spiegel
Dr. Colleen Spiegel has twenty years of experience in research and development, process engineering and mathematical modeling with companies such as Catalent, Bausch & Lomb, Clean Fuel Cell Energy, and Draper Laboratory. Colleen is the author of “Designing and Building Fuel Cells” (McGraw-Hill) and “PEM Fuel Cell Modeling and Simulation Using MATLAB” (Elsevier Science). She has a BS and MS in Chemical Engineering and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Florida.
